Workshops

I run parenting workshops which allow parents to collaborate on their parenting journey to develop the skills and attributes that will allow them to develop and foster positive relationships with their child and make for a harmonious home. The workshops incorporate a lot of role play - yes you get to play the role of your child!

These workshops are based on the Positive Discipline approach and the best selling book by Lynn Lott and Jane Nelsen.

One-to-One Sessions

I believe that parenting is one of the hardest jobs you can have. Navigating the journey of parenting can, at times, be challenging. As a one on one parenting coach, I offer a space for parents to consider their own actions and behaviours to support their children to have a sense of belonging in your family and to become well rounded and positive members of society.

Parenting is one of the hardest jobs in the world - one that can be incredibly rewarding but can also bring frustration and self-doubt.

As a Parent, do you ask yourself these questions:

  • Am I too strict or not strict enough?

  • Is it okay for my child to feel disappointment and experience failure?

  • How can I encourage my child to be more independent and take responsibility?

  • How should I manage screen time?

  • I want to give them some freedom, but I'm not sure I can trust them or their friends.

  • How do I manage my child's emotions?

  • The first step in Parenting the Positive Discipline way is to consider the life skills you would want your child to develop and what you can do and say as a parent to help them acquire those skills and at the same time creating healthier relationships between you and your child.

Child Hugging Parent

What is Positive Discipline?

Positive Discipline is a proven parenting approach that fosters strong, positive relationships between parents and children, guiding them to become responsible, respectful, and resourceful members of their communities. Grounded in the bestselling books by Dr. Jane Nelsen and others, Positive Discipline teaches essential social and life skills in a respectful and encouraging way.

Research shows that children naturally seek connection, and those who feel linked to their community, family, and school are less likely to misbehave. Positive Discipline helps parents teach these vital skills, creating a supportive environment where children thrive as contributing members of society.

Testimonials

Priscilla, SZ

I love the relatively small size of the group and it definitely helps to have three workshops so that we build up a momentum. Also the distribution of the workshop is great - some presentation, some role playing keeps participants interested and engaged.

Inge, HK

Georgina is SUPER! Very passionate and knowledgeable.

Sarah, UK

The role modelling was great and helped me understand a situation from a child’s perspective. Thinking about what skills we are teaching and modelling to our children was really useful.
