Parent Workshops

Introduction to our Parent workshops
The workshops are interactive and fun and involve elements of group parent coaching, role play and theory.
The positive parenting approach does believe in consequences for behaviour choices, it does believe that children should be held accountable for their choices. However, in our workshops we break down how our behaviour as parents can have a huge impact on how our children behave and the choices they make.
What our Workshops will cover
Our Parenting Workshops help parents develop leadership and coaching skills to build strong connections, encourage positive behaviour, and balance kindness with firmness. Using transformational leadership principles, we explore practical strategies to support children’s emotional and social growth.

Understanding the beliefs that drive behaviour

Recognising that all emotions are OK, but not all behaviours are OK

Shifting from telling to asking, promoting a collaborative dynamic

The importance of building connections before correcting

Exploring the impact on the brain when we or our children become overwhelmed, drawing insights from the work of Dan Siegel

Thinking about the life skills and characteristics parents want for their children

Supporting our children in managing their big emotions

Balancing kindness and firmness in our parenting approach

Other themes are covered as well as having group parent coaching
